China Minmetals Corporation 2016-06-22


On June 21st, China Minmetals Corporation General Manager, Leading Party Group Deputy Secretary and MCC President and Party Committee Secretary Guo Wenqing investigated and guided the work of General Office, Party Work Department, Trade Union and Administrative Affairs Administration Department of China Minmetals Corporation, and also conversed with the department managers . He was accompanied by China Minmetals Corporation Deputy General Manager and Party Leading Group Member Li Lianhua, as well as the relevant heads of General Office, Party-Masses Affairs Department and Party Committee Publicity Department of MCC.
During the investigation, Guo Wenqing heard reports on the departments’ overall situation, division of work and basic personal information of team members . He also conversed with them on such topics as overseas affairs, contributed donations, petition letters, guaranteeing stability, the work of the alliances, the development of Party members, the Youth league, property rights management, catering services and more. He particularly stressed that the four departments are playing the comprehensive and central roles to the Group, so they should stand on their principles, perform their duties seriously, improve their work style, promote the work of Party construction and the alliance from thought, organization and system, create beneficial conditions for employee, take measures to provide good services adhering to the principles of thrift, and allow the employees to eat well and feel confident about the safety of their food. During the debriefing and interaction process, Guo Wenqing also gave specific guidance for the work of the four departments in combination with MCC’s relevant practices.
For the next steps of the four departments, Guo Wenqing made the following specific requests:
I. all the informations and decisions should be conveyed to every level promptly and correctly. The major deployment decisions of the Party Central Committee, State Council and China State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Committee should be promptly and accurately conveyed, and major emergency events should be quickly and resolutely handled.
II. Comprehensive coordination should be conducted in an orderly and powerful manner; 'orderly' means that there are rules that should be followed, and 'powerful' means that each department should persist to the end. Now that the work of deepening reform in the top-level design is complete, the responsibilities of each department are becoming clearer; as such, the undertaking departments and supervisory departments should carry out their responsibilities and cooperate with each other to put the relevant work into effect.
III. The flow of official documents should be concise and effective; 'concise' means that there is no need to report to several leaders for advice, we need to further identify the hierarchies of official reporting and handling, and 'effective' means no 'stockpiling', further adjust and optimize the unsuitable workflow. The flow of official documents should reflect responsibility and efficiency so as to inspire managers to place greater emphasis on production & operation and reform & development.
IV. Internal and external publicity should be outstanding. This restructuring conference has achieved such remarkable results in internal and external publicity that every employee of the new China Minmetals feels refreshed when they see the news reported by mainstream media, and their confidence in the enterprise’s prospective development grows. In the process of creating the State-owned Capital Investment Company within the metal and mining field, we should preserve the principle of focusing on positive publicity and highlight the good image of the new China Minmetals.
V. Writing capability should be strong. This is of great importance for playing a comprehensive and central role. One can start with imitating and then form his own style after long-term accumulation. MCC's writers must not only train in the capacity for descriptive imagery, but also enhance their logical thinking, only in this way can they write a good article.
VI. Strategies and stratagems should be practical and effective.
