On June 13th, while researching economic & social development and the 'Two Learning, One Doing' education development situation, Anhui Provincial Party Committee Secretary Wang Xuejun visited the MCC17 Group's Taiwan Maodi (Ma’anshan) New Energy Resources Project, built for the world's largest solar battery cell manufacturer, to conduct an investigation. He was accompanied by Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General Tang Chengpei, Standing Committee Member and Minister of Organization Deng Xiangyang, Ma’anshan Municipal Party Secretary Zhang Xiaolin, Mayor Wei Yao and others.

At the construction site, Wang Xuejun visited the 400MW Module Manufacturing Workshop Transformation Project completed by MCC17, inspected the production line and inquired about the conditions of production operation, scientific and technological innovation, product distribution and so on. Upon learning that it had taken just over 3 months from the project's signing to its operation, creating the surprising 'Maodi Speed', Wang Xuejun expressed his strong appreciation and encouraged MCC17 to carry 'Maodi Speed' forward in all subsequent project construction, take aim at the market's frontier, strengthen the impetus of innovation, accelerate the progress of development, continue becoming ever bigger and stronger, raise the capacity of the follow-up Maodi Battery Project, optimize the investment climate of the development area and enhance the after-effects of development.

On November 30th, 2015, after winning the bidding for the project, MCC17 immediately organized its excellent leaders and staff to commence work the following day. The movement of equipment was provided. From December 1st to December 25th, the construction tasks that had been regarded by the industry as 'impossible' and 'requiring at least 3 months' were smoothly completed in just 25 days, one day fewer than planned, creating the amazing 'Maodi Speed'.
