From July 11th to 12th, Guo Wenqing, China Minmetals' President and Deputy Party Group Secretary, inspected China Minmetals' Hegang Graphite Industry Project in Heilongjiang and provided guidance to production. Li Hongguo, Secretary of Hegang Municipal Party Committee and Wang Xingzhu, Mayor of Hegang City participated in the inspection together.

Guo Wenqing first came to China Minmetals' Graphite High-quality Utilization Industrial Park and Data Sharing Center, inspected the construction of high-purity graphite projects, sewage treatment plants and other industrial supporting projects, and listened to reports on the overall planning, resource integration, industrial prospects, deep processing and product application of graphite industry projects. Then, he rushed to Luobei County Graphite Industrial Park where he inspected mining, mineral processing and spherical graphite projects, gained in-depth understanding of mine production and operation, green mine construction, mineral processing and spherical graphite project construction progress among others. He also inquired in detail about the difficulties and problems existing in the construction, and expressed sincere greetings to China Minmetals' graphite project team members who have been sticking to their posts and working hard on the front line all the year round.

Guo Wenqing fully recognized the achievements of China Minmetals' Hegang Graphite Industry Project in Heilongjiang. Meanwhile, he urged the project teams to strengthen, optimize and expand the graphite industry, accelerate the construction progress of the graphite industry integration project, and make every effort to build a world-class graphite industry chain with core competitiveness, so as to be the leader of the graphite industry chain in China.

Guo Wenqing put forward five requirements for related work: First, focus on the main responsibilities and core business, firmly undertake the mission of serving the country through mining industry, strengthen resource integration on the basis of mastering high-quality resources, consolidate the leading position of Hegang graphite industry in raw material supply, make overall planning to ensure orderly and efficient development of resources, and improve the scale and convergence of resource development and utilization. Second, accelerate the construction progress of industrial projects, seize the market opportunities, continue to extend the graphite industry chain, promote the development demonstration of the downstream links of the industry chain such as anode materials as soon as possible, and enhance the autonomous controllable ability of the graphite industry chain supply chain. Third, strengthen the leadership of scientific and technological innovation, firmly grasp the core technologies for the future development of the graphite industry, accelerate the application of scientific and technological achievements to industries, and gain a voice in the market as soon as possible; Fourth, strengthen the top-level design, set the world-class industrial parks as the benchmark, make high-quality and high-standard planning for China Minmetals' Graphite Industrial Park, continue to promote the construction of green and intelligent mines, and move towards the goal of world-class green and intelligent mines. Fifth, comprehensively strengthen the leadership of the party, integrate party building into all aspects of the company's production and operation, stimulate the work enthusiasm of officials and employees, and build a loyal, honest and responsible high-quality professional team.

During the talks with Li Hongguo and Wang Xingzhu, Guo Wenqing expressed his gratitude to the Hegang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their long-term strong support for the development of China Minmetals' Hegang Graphite Industry Project in Heilongjiang. He emphasized that this is an important industrial project that meets the requirements of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government to "build a graphite industry worth RMB 100 billion" and matches the strategic layout of China Minmetals focusing on the main responsibilities and core business. It is in line with the national strategic needs and has sound development potential and prospects. With the support of the Hegang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, China Minmetals will, taking a long-term perspective and relying on Hegang's superior graphite resources and its own industrial and technological advantages, accelerate the high-standard construction of China Minmetals' Hegang Graphite Industry Project in Heilongjiang, further integrate resources, lead China's graphite industry to continuously improve its international influence and competitiveness, and build a world-class graphite industry base. He hoped that the two sides could actively practice the initiative of "central enterprises and local governments joining hands to seek common development", make concerted efforts in the planning and construction of supporting facilities in the industrial park, the introduction of scientific and technological talents, ecological protection and high-value utilization of resources, and build China Minmetals' Graphite Park into an international leading green and low-carbon industrial demonstration park.

Hegang City will fully support the development of China Minmetals' Hegang Graphite Industry Project in Heilongjiang, create favorable conditions and provide best services for the enterprise, actively carry out the construction of supporting facilities in the industrial park, promote the integration of China Minmetals' graphite resources, foster and expand the industrial cluster. The leadership of China Minmetals' brand will boost Hegang's graphite industry to a new level and contribute to all-round revitalization and development of Heilongjiang.
