Recently, the Sino-foreign Corporate Culture Summit 2024, hosted by China Corporate Culture Institute, was held in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. The summit released the list of the first batch of "5A Grade Enterprises for Corporate Culture Building and Management" in China (30 enterprises in total), which included China Minmetals.

China Minmetals has always followed the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply studied and implemented the cultural thoughts of President Xi Jinping, and focused on enhancing core functions and improving core competitiveness. It has also stuck to the culture of embracing diversity and inclusiveness, and made overall planning to continuously promote the integration and building of corporate culture. Especially since the beginning of this year, it has taken cultural enhancement as the foundation and cultural promotion as the key, continuously strengthening the innovative development and leading role of its culture for culture of its subsidiaries. Besides, it has taken cultural bases as the media and cultural integration as the guideline, and adopted multiple measures to deepen the concept of "Minmetals as a Family" and build a "Community with a Shared Future in Minmetals". In addition, by taking cultural practice as the standard and cultural evaluation as the measure, it has deeply promoted the corporate culture building to integrate into and serve the central work of the enterprise, thus providing mental strength and cultural support for accelerating the construction of a world-class powerhouse with global competitiveness in the metals and minerals industry.

This selection strictly followed the Evaluation Standards for Corporate Culture Building and Management (T/CCCI001-2024), and included such procedures as case application, research and interviews, questionnaire surveys and expert reviews. China Minmetals stood out from all central state-owned enterprises and local enterprises participating in the selection by virtue of its outstanding performance in organizational building, concept creation, implementation & operation, publicity & communication of corporate culture, and its integration into operation and management. In this selection, China Minmetals, together with Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., China National Petroleum Corporation, China Southern Power Grid, Ansteel Group Corporation Limited, China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited and other enterprises, were included in the list of the first batch of "5A Grade Enterprises for Corporate Culture Building and Management" in China.

The three-day summit was themed on "cultivating first-class culture and shaping first-class brands" and attended by nearly 500 delegates from relevant national ministries, academic institutions and enterprises from all industries.

Founded in 1988, China Corporate Culture Institute is the first academic institution for corporate culture with corporate personality in China. It has long been committed to the practice and exploration of corporate culture research and management. Besides, it has completed China's first national planning research project on corporate culture, the first Dictionary of Corporate Culture and Yearbook of Corporate Culture, and therefore played a leading, professional and authoritative role in the field of corporate culture building.
