China Minmetals Corporation 2026-07-23

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council recently announced the assessment results of key tasks under the Central SOE Reform Deepening and Upgrading Initiative for 2025. China Minmetals was rated as a Grade A enterprise, marking its fifth consecutive Grade A rating since SASAC initiated the reform assessment.

Since the launch of the SOE reform deepening and upgrading initiative, China Minmetals has thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discussions on SOE reform, development, and Party-building. China Minmetals has always regarded comprehensive deepening of reform as the “critical lever” to drive high-quality development, resolutely upholding its founding mission of “serving the country through mining and strengthening the nation through mining.” It has continuously strengthened its core function of “ensuring the supply and security of national metal mineral resources” and steadily enhanced its core competitiveness of “integrated high-level development across the entire industrial chain.” With a higher strategic vision, it has promoted the implementation of major M&A projects; with stronger commitment, it has completed the restructuring and integration of key core resources; with more concrete measures, it has promoted deep integration of technological innovation with industrial innovation; and with greater efforts, it has deepened institutional and mechanism reforms. China Minmetals is committed to serving the overall national agenda of resource security, industrial chain and supply chain security, and the development of a modern industrial system, continuously translating reform dividends into powerful momentum for development.

Looking ahead to the new journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China Minmetals will continue to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discussions on SOE reform, development, and Party-building, fully implement the central government’s deployment requirements for further deepening SOE reforms. With a work style of “practical action and solid results,” it will push forward various reform tasks to achieve tangible outcomes, consolidate its position as the “national team for resource security and main force for new-quality productive forces and new-type industrialization,” better fulfill its “three roles,” and strive to be a “pacesetter in three areas,” forging ahead toward the goal of “becoming a world-class metal and mineral enterprise group with global competitiveness,” and making new and greater contributions to the advancement of Chinese-style modernization.
