On July 22, SASAC officially announced the results of the 2025 annual performance assessment of central SOE executives. China Minmetals once again received a Grade A rating, achieving the outstanding feat of maintaining a Grade A performance assessment for six consecutive years. It ranked 32nd among all assessed central SOEs, a significant leap of 13 places from 2024, marking an upgrade in both ranking and capability. With sustained and stable operational results and iteratively upgraded management standards, the company delivered a performance report that embodies both stability and breakthrough in high-quality development as a central SOE.
In 2025, facing a complex and severe internal and external environment, China Minmetals adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implemented the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and its plenary sessions, and earnestly carried out the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. The company firmly established and practiced a correct view of performance, continued to deepen reforms, steadfastly upheld the founding mission of “serving the country through mining and strengthening the nation through mining,” continuously improved its differentiated and categorized assessment mechanisms, actively introduced the Amoeba Business Management Model, and precisely guided enterprises at all levels to anchor on the track of high-quality development. It steadily improved operational quality and efficiency, continuously enhanced core functions and core competitiveness, fully completed its budget targets and all assessment tasks set by SASAC, effectively played the role of a “stabilizer” and “ballast” for central SOEs in the national economy, and successfully concluded the “14th Five-Year Plan” period.
