On March 27, Zhu Kebing, General Manager and Deputy Party Group Secretary of China Minmetals, met with visiting Zhou Jinxing, Secretary of the CPC Wuhai Municipal Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The two sides held discussions on deepening central-local collaboration. Xu Jiqing, Member of the Party Group and Deputy General Manager of China Minmetals, attended the meeting.

Zhu Kebing extended a welcome to Zhou Jinxing and his delegation, providing an overview of China Minmetals’ development history and operational profile. He said that the company initially engaged in import and export trade of metal minerals, hardware products, and building materials. Through decades of transformation, it has evolved into a globally competitive metal and mineral resources enterprise group, establishing a comprehensive business system encompassing metal and mineral resources, metallurgical engineering, technology industries, trade and logistics, and financial real estate.

Zhu emphasized that China Minmetals remains steadfast in serving the nation through mining and empowering the country via industrial strength. The company is advancing strategic priorities including streamlining core operations, consolidating industrial positioning, and pooling strategic resources, with landmark projects of industry-wide significance prioritized by the CPC Central Committee achieving milestone progress. This has steadily elevated the company’s industrial influence and competitive edge.

Noting the solid collaborative foundation between China Minmetals and Wuhai, Zhu proposed enhancing communication and leveraging mutual strengths to explore concrete project implementation, driving mutually beneficial development that contributes to regional and national industrial advancement.

Zhou Jinxing expressed gratitude for China Minmetals’ strong support to Wuhai City’s socioeconomic development and introduced the city’s fundamental strengths. He highlighted Wuhai’s abundant mineral resources, robust industrial foundation, comprehensive factor endowments, extensive green electricity absorption capacity, and strong policy backing. Zhou proposed expanding the scope of collaboration, jointly planning and advancing more projects to achieve tangible results, and seizing shared development opportunities to forge a prosperous future together.
