On May 21, 2025, Zhu Kebing, President and Deputy Party Group Secretary of China Minmetals, presided over a research symposium for affiliated enterprises of China Minmetals in Sichuan-Chongqing region. The symposium aimed to thoroughly study and implement the guiding principle contained in General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches on the 15th Five-Year Plan, and to carry out the plan of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council regarding the 15th Five-Year Plan. The symposium brought together insights to jointly plan the overall development strategy and goals for China Minmetals over the next five years. 

At the symposium, Zhu Kebing introduced the basic strategies of China Minmetals' 15th Five-Year Plan and its plan. With the focus placed on topics such as business operations, business transformation and upgrading, technological innovation, digital intelligence industry, and plan formulation since the beginning of this year, attendees listened to the business strategies and suggestions of four affiliated enterprises of China Minmetals - CISDI Group Co., Ltd., China MCC5 Group CORP.LTD., China Metallurgical Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and China 19th Metallurgical Corporation, and engaged in interactive exchanges. 

According to Zhu Kebing's statement, it is essential to firmly grasp the missions and tasks of central state-owned enterprises in the new era and new journey. It is crucial to follow the requirements of the "three concentrations, three functions, and three vanguards", and identify the key focus areas and breakthrough points. They should continuously enhance core functions and improve core competitiveness. Efforts should be concentrated on developing new quality productive forces, and development paths for transformation and upgrading should be planned according to local conditions. Besides, they should adhere to the orientation of technological innovation, industrial transformation, mechanism reform, and mindset update. To be specific, they should use technological innovation to lead industrial innovation and coordinate the development of traditional industries, strategic emerging industries, and future industries. They should also implement the core business focus, industrial positioning, and resource integration to solve problems in the transformation and development and prepare for the development of the next five years. Besides, it is imperative to firmly grasp the strategic mission and functional positioning of China Minmetals. They must deeply understand the profound changes in the external environment and the actual development statuses of the enterprises themselves.
