On July 9, Chen Dexin,  Chairman of China Minmetals, met with Zhang Hui, President of the Bank of China, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on further strengthening cooperation.

Chen Dexin welcomed the visit of Zhang Hui and his delegation, thanked the Bank of China for its strong support and briefly introduced the history and development status of China Minmetals. He said that China Minmetals has always been committed to serving the country through the minerals industry, shouldered its responsibilities to reinvigorate the country through the minerals industry, and established a business system focused on metals & minerals, metallurgical engineering, technology development, trade & logistics, financial services and real estate. At present, China Minmetals is in a important period of deepening rectification, consolidation, and expansion, a critical period of improving quality, raising efficiency, and promoting transformation and upgrading, and a period of multiple enabling policies, providing opportunities for development. The Company keeps enhancing core functions, improves core competitiveness, and effectively promotes the Company’s high-quality development with a focus on its primary responsibilities and key business. For a long time, China Minmetals has established a partnership of mutual trust and benefits with the Bank of China. The both sides cooperate extensively and achieve remarkable achievements. It is hoped that the both sides will further enhance cooperation at home and abroad, and expand the space for cooperation in areas such as credit authorization and utilization, M&A financing, bond issuance, sci-tech innovation support, capital pool construction and operation, etc., thus empowering win-win development of both sides.

Zhang Hui thanked China Minmetals for its trust and support, and introduced the development history, global layout, and product system of the Bank of China. Zhang said that China Minmetals is a highly valued partner and important customer of the Bank of China. The Bank of China will focus its efforts on the needs of China Minmetals in the process of shouldering its primary responsibilities, developing key business, and conducting international operation to further expand the space for cooperation in the field of capital operation, and continue to optimize the supply of financial products and services, so as to provide all-round support for the high-quality development of China Minmetals.

Relevant personnel from the Bank of China, and leaders from the relevant headquarters departments of China Minmetals, and directly managed subsidiaries attended the meeting.
