On the morning of September 8, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the Party School of China Minmetals Corporation (Cadre Education Center of China Minmetals Corporation) and the opening ceremony of its first training session were held at the CNPC Managers Training Institute. Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhou Jiannong, Deputy Director of Party School of the CPC Central Committee SASAC Branch and Deputy Director of the SASAC Cadre Education Center, and Wang Feng, Vice President of CNPC Party School, Executive Director and Party Secretary of CNPC Managers Training Institute, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Wang Jiezhi, Deputy Party Secretary, Director, and President (Director) of China Minmetals Party School (Cadre Education Center), presided over the ceremony. 

Chen Dexin noted in his speech that the establishment of China Minmetals Party School (Cadre Education Center) is a milestone in the development of China Minmetals, representing a significant measure to implement the general requirements for Party building in the new era, build a "world-class" enterprise, and enhance the quality of the cadre and talent team. China Minmetals Party School (Cadre Education Center) should take General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Party school operations as its guiding rules, anchoring the work to the goal of "cultivating talent for the Party, providing strategic advice for the Party." The school must adhere to the Party's leadership, making political training a compulsory and core component of education and training. It should focus on the central tasks, taking the promotion of the company's high-quality development as the starting point and ultimate goal of education and training. It should also enforce strict school management, integrate the pursuit of educational quality throughout the entire cycle and all aspects of education and training, and transform the Party's political advantages into the enterprise's competitive advantages. Trainees should continuously strengthen their theoretical grounding, stay firmly on the right political course through ideological tempering, and enhance their political competence. They should delve deeply into their professional fields, enhance their competencies to strengthen their sense of responsibility and achieve tangible results. They should proactively exercise strict self-discipline, exemplify new and healthy trends as "pioneers" and run the "first leg" effectively. 

Zhou Jiannong extended his warm congratulations on the establishment of China Minmetals Party School (Cadre Education Center). He expressed hope that the school would firmly maintain its Party orientation, and actively practice the original intention of cultivating talent for the Party and offering constructive suggestion for the Party. It should focus on high-quality education, and continuously improve the relevance and effectiveness of its training programs. Meanwhile, it should adhere to the founding purpose while pursuing pioneering innovation, and contribute to the goal of building a world-class enterprise. 

Wang Feng stated that the inauguration is a vivid practice of strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two Party schools, promoting co-construction and sharing of resources, and talent co-cultivation. A long-term communication and collaboration mechanism will be established to jointly create a new platform for cadre training and a new paradigm for talent development. 

Those participated in the event also include: Leaders from Party School of the CPC Central Committee SASAC Branch, and CNPC Managers Training Institute, heads of relevant headquarter departments of China Minmetals, members of the leadership team of China Minmetals Party School (Cadre Education Center), as well as all trainees of the first training session.
