On September 10, 2025, China Minmetals held working talks with Jiangxi provincial leaders in Nanchang. Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, and Zhu Kebing, Deputy Party Group Secretary, Director, and President of China Minmetals, held in-depth discussions with Yin Hong, Secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and Ye Jianchun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee and Governor, on strengthening cooperation between central state-owned enterprises and local governments. Ren Zhufeng and Chen Min, leaders from Jiangxi provincial government, and Wang Xingquan, leader from China Minmetals, attended the meeting.

Yin Hong and Ye Jianchun, on behalf of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee and People's Government of Jiangxi Province, expressed gratitude to China Minmetals for its long-term strong support for Jiangxi's development. Yin Hong pointed out that Jiangxi is a major province rich in nonferrous metal mineral resources in China. In recent years, leveraging its resource advantages and industrial foundation, Jiangxi has accelerated the development of a modern industrial system with distinct local strengths, fostering national advanced manufacturing clusters such as rare earth new materials and applications, copper-based new materials, and the Yangtze River Delta (including Jiangxi) large aircraft. It has consistently prioritized the nonferrous metal industry as one of the key industrial chains in the "1269" Action Plan, accelerating the high-quality development of the industry. Yin hoped that China Minmetals would further expand its cooperation with Jiangxi across more fields and at a deeper level, fully leverage its integrated advantages across the entire metal mining industry chain, and continuously increase investment in the province. Jiangxi will continue to improve its business environment and provide better services to support China Minmetals' growth in the province, jointly promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides, he added.

Chen Dexin and Zhu Kebing thanked the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee and People's Government of Jiangxi Province for their long-term assistance and support to China Minmetals. Chen Dexin stated that as a central state-owned enterprise with metal mining as its core business, China Minmetals has, over its 75-year history, remained committed to contributing to human progress through developing the mining industry. It has always regarded ensuring the supply and security of national metal mineral resources as its mission, forming integrated development advantages across the entire industry chain including resource exploration, design and construction, development and operation, smelting and processing, trade and logistics, R&D, and financial services. It is accelerating its transformation into a world-class metal mineral enterprise with global competitiveness. The friendly cooperation between China Minmetals and Jiangxi Province has a long history. Jiangxi boasts strong development momentum, a superior business environment, abundant resources, and obvious advantages in metal mineral resources, which highly align with China Minmetals' core business and strategic focus. He hoped that both sides would further deepen cooperation in areas such as metal mining, resource development, technological innovation, metallurgical construction, and financial services. China Minmetals is willing to fully leverage its advantages to assist Jiangxi Province in fostering the "Three Highlands" and implementing the "Five Major Strategies," thereby making new and greater contributions to better serving national strategies.
