China Minmetals Corporation 2025-09-24

On September 11, 2025, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Party Group Secretary, Director, and President of China Minmetals, met with Luo Qiang, Vice Governor of Guizhou Province. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on further deepening cooperation between central state-owned enterprises and local governments.

Zhu Kebing extended a warm welcome to Luo Qiang and his delegation, and thanked the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and People's Government of Guizhou Province for their long-term support for the development of China Minmetals' local enterprises. He stated that as a key state-owned enterprise with metal mining as its core business, China Minmetals was established to ensure China's resource supply and has continued to grow alongside the country's reform and opening-up. After 75 years of transformation and development, it has now formed a full industrial chain integrating resource exploration, design and construction, development and operation, smelting and processing, trade and logistics, R&D, and financial services, with solid and steady progress in high-quality development. Zhu stressed that Guizhou, with its distinctive geographic advantages, rich natural resources, and broad development prospects, has long been a strong partner of China Minmetals. Both sides have maintained close and extensive cooperation over the past years. He hoped that both sides would further strengthen communication and coordination, unlock more cooperation opportunities in areas such as mineral resource development and industrial chain collaboration, and jointly serve national development goals while opening a new chapter in cooperation between central state-owned enterprises and local governments.

Luo Qiang thanked China Minmetals for its long-term significant contributions to rural revitalization and economic and social development in Guizhou. He noted that Guizhou is currently strengthening innovation-driven development, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, thereby creating broader opportunities and favorable conditions for corporate investment and development. He expressed hope that both sides would seize new opportunities arising from national strategies, align their strengths with key industries, and further deepen cooperation in areas such as advanced resource processing, metallurgical construction, and financial and real estate services. Guizhou will continue to provide high-quality services for China Minmetals' enterprises in the province.

Officials from the Guizhou provincial government and the Tongren municipal government, as well as the relevant personnel of China Minmetals attended the meeting.
