Chen Dexin Visits Subsidiaries in Jiangxi and Extends Greetings to Local Managers and Workers

From September 9 to 11, 2025, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited subsidiaries in Jiangxi including Ganbei Tungsten, Xianglushan Tungsten, Nanchang Cemented Carbide, and Jinzhou Precision Technology Corporation Nanchang Branch. He conducted workplace safety inspections, and visited frontline cadres and workers. Chen was accompanied by Wang Xingquan, Vice President and Party Group Member of China Minmetals. 

Chen Dexin visited the Safety, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health Education and Training Center, production workshops, and wastewater treatment facilities at Ganbei Tungsten; the 610 mining area, the third concentrator workshop, and the technical renovation project site for the new tungsten resource supporting concentrator at Xianglushan Tungsten; the Powder Division and Alloy Division at Nanchang Cemented Carbide; and the production workshop at Jinzhou Precision Technology Corporation Nanchang Branch. He inquired in detail about their works in exploration and development, production scheduling, operation management, technological innovation, safety and environmental protection, project construction, and Party building. He then encouraged employees to uphold the philosophy of "lean management, pursuit of excellence, and dedicated effort", and to play a greater role in addressing critical technological challenges and safeguarding the supply and security of national mineral resources. 

Chen Dexin emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions, strengthen efforts to expand and increase resource reserves, and enhance the supply capacity for strategic mineral resources. He called for high-quality development to lead the way, accelerating transformation toward high-end, intelligent, and green development. Guided by the approach of "turning resources into materials, materials into products, and products into industries", he urged raising the level of comprehensive resource utilization. He stressed deepening the Amoeba management model, focusing on efficiency through accounting-based operations, lean management, and reform and innovation, so as to continuously improve modern governance. Chen called for stronger internal coordination, strict quality and progress management in project construction, and advancing capacity expansion and transformation in parallel. He underscored the need to implement the Party Group's requirements for special rectification, enforce accountability at all levels, and build projects that are clean, safe, and of high quality. He also urged deeper integration of scientific and industrial innovation to accelerate the establishment of a modern metal mining industry system. In addition, Chen stressed the importance of caring for and supporting employees, improving training systems, and developing a versatile talent pool proficient in management, technology, and business operations. He called for the establishment of a safety management system centered on executing the work safety accountability system to make sure that the line is never crossed in workplace safety and environmental protection. He also urged deeper integration of Party building with business operations, continued implementation of the guidelines of the eight-point decision of the CPC Central Committee on improving Party conduct and the creation of a healthy, upright, and stable environment. 

During the visit, Chen also held talks with Liu Wenhua, Secretary of the Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee, expressing thanks to the Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their long-term strong support. He expressed hopes that both sides would continue to deepen practical cooperation and jointly write a new chapter of mutually beneficial and win-win collaboration.
