Zhu Kebing extended a warm welcome to Qin Chuncheng and his delegation, and gave a brief overview of China Minmetals' history and operations. He noted that China Minmetals takes ensuring the supply and security of national metal mineral resources as its mission, upholding the aspiration and shouldering the responsibility of“contributing to human progress through developing the mining industry”. It has established the strategic positioning of being the "national team” for resource security and main force for advancing new industrialization and urbanization, and has forged development advantages across the entire industrial chain integrating resource exploration, design and construction, development and operation, smelting and processing, trade and logistics, scientific and technological research and development, and financial capital. Noting the strong alignment between China Minmetals' and Hechi' development strategies and the broad space for cooperation, Zhu highlighted the long-standing partnership between the two sides in technological innovation, ecological and environmental protection, and engineering construction. Going forward, China Minmetals is committed to leveraging its advantages across the entire metal and minerals industry chain to deepen cooperation with Hechi city in relevant fields and support the high-end, intelligent, green, large-scale and park-based development of Hechi city's metal industry.

Qin Chuncheng thanked China Minmetals for its long-term contributions to the economic and social development of Hechi, and briefly introduced the basic situation of Hechi. He stated that currently, following the work arrangements of the Party committee and government of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Hechi is actively carrying out the investigation and rectification of potential environmental safety hazards in heavy metals, and making every effort to promote the construction of the Nandan Key Metals High-Quality Development Comprehensive Pilot Zone. It is hoped that China Minmetals will give play to its technological and management advantages, deeply participate in the green and efficient development and utilization of mineral resources in Hechi, and jointly build a complete non-ferrous metal industrial chain, thus helping Hechi pursue a high-quality development path for its critical metal industry characterized by high-end, intelligent, green, large-scale and park-based development. Hechi will continue to strengthen service guarantees, provide high-quality services and create a favorable environment for China Minmetals' local development.
