On November 5, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Party Group Secretary, Director and President of China Minmetals, met with Ye Jianfang, Deputy Party Group Secretary and General Manager of Gansu Electric Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (Gansu Electric Group), who paid a visit. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on further strengthening cooperation.

Zhu Kebing extended a warm welcome to Ye Jianfang and his delegation, and gave a brief overview of China Minmetals' history and operations. He said that China Minmetals adheres to the aspiration and shoulder the responsibility of “contributing to human progress through developing the mining industry”, with the strategic positioning of "national team” for resource security and main force for advancing new industrialization and urbanization. After years of transformation and development, it has formed development advantages across the entire industrial chain integrating resource exploration, design and construction, development and operation, smelting and processing, trade and logistics, scientific and technological research and development, and financial capital. It has continuously and comprehensively enhanced the security guarantee capacity of strategic mineral resources across all stages spanning "exploration, production, supply, storage and marketing". Since signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Gansu Province in March this year, China Minmetals has been diligently and effectively advancing the collaboration, and has further carried out all-round, wide-ranging and in-depth comprehensive cooperation with Gansu Electric Group on the basis of existing friendly cooperation. It is hoped to further strengthen systematic planning with Gansu Electric Group, explore cooperation opportunities in a wider range of fields including the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the design of application scenario needs and the joint research and development of specific products, and jointly lay a solid foundation for win-win cooperation.

He said that as a key enterprise in the industrial field of Gansu Province, Gansu Electric Group focuses on high-end, intelligent and green development, continuously increases investment in scientific and technological innovation, tackles key core technologies in equipment manufacturing, and optimizes product structure thus upgrading the whole industry. Since China Minmetals is a strategic cooperative partner, Gansu Electric Group will further leverage its professional capabilities and brand advantages in electrical equipment manufacturing, actively promote the two sides to expand cooperation space in more engineering projects as well as in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and make every effort to provide the best products and services for China Minmetals.
