On November 13, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, held in-depth working talks in Guiyang with Xu Lin , secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, and Li Bingjun, deputy secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and governor of Guizhou province, to discuss strengthening cooperation. Guo Qiang, a member of the standing committee of the Communist Party of China Guizhou Provincial Committee and deputy governor of Guizhou province, and Wang Jiezhi, Deputy Party Group Secretary and Director of China Minmetals, attended the meeting.
Xu Lin and Li Bingjun thanked China Minmetals for its long-term care and support for Guizhou's development. They noted that currently, Guizhou is thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, aligning with General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches during his inspection in Guizhou, vigorously advancing the "efficient exploitation of high-grade mineral resources", striving to transform mineral resource advantages into industrial strengths, while remaining firmly committed to the path of high-quality development. They expressed hope that China Minmetals will increase its investment and layout in Guizhou, empower the development and utilization of advantageous mineral resources with science and technology, help extend the industrial chain and increase added value, so as to better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Chen Dexin thanked the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government for their long-term care and support for China Minmetals. He said that China Minmetals thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, adhering to the aspiration of contributing to human progress through developing the mining industry, and has established development advantages of a complete industrial chain integrating resource exploration, design and construction, development and operation, smelting and processing, trade and logistics, scientific and technological R&D, and financial capital. Guizhou, as a strategic cooperative partner, is highly valued by China Min metals. He hoped that both sides would anchor their efforts to the development blueprint of the 15th Five-Year Plan, deepen pragmatic cooperation in fields such as mineral resource development, technological research, financial services, engineering construction, rural vitalization and talent exchange, and make new contributions to better serving national strategies and building a benchmark for central-local cooperation.
