From November 12 to 13, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Party Group Secretary, Director and President of China Minmetals, inspected subsidiaries in Handan, Jinan and other places, conducted work safety inspections within front-line production areas, and visited and extended his regards to employees.

Zhu Kebing conducted inspections at several key operational sites, including the No. 5 Stope at the -245m level underground of Beiminghe Iron Mine at Hanxing Mining, the in-depth geological environment treatment and greening improvement project site. He also visited MCC Southern Wuhan Pengzhou Co., Ltd., where he toured the nuclear carbon brick processing center, carbon brick molding workshop and baking workshop . At Minmetals Luzhong, he inspected the -375-meter level stope of the Gangli main ore body, the main mineral processing building and tailings pond. In addition, he examined the mineral processing workshop, and the operation site of the No. 2 auxiliary shaft wellhead at Laixin Iron Mine. Throughout these visits, he gained detailed insights into production and operations, process technology, scientific and technological R&D, market development, lean management and Party building. He conducted on-site work safety inspections and ecological environmental protection supervision, while engaging in cordial exchanges with front-line employees.

Zhu Kebing stressed the importance of thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, firmly grasping China Minmetals' strategic positioning during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, deeply understanding the great significance of ensuring the supply and security of national metal mineral resources, and continuously enhancing core functions and core competitiveness. It is necessary to firmly establish the mindset of "living on a tight budget", scientifically organize production, strengthen lean management, steadily reduce cost while increasing efficiency, further intensify prospecting in the periphery and deep parts of mines, and strive to extend the service life of mines. He called for strengthening scientific and technological innovation to optimize and improve processes, pooling collective wisdom and tackling challenges to effectively solve technical difficulties such as ground pressure manifestation and surrounding rock fragmentation, thereby ensuring safe and efficient mining. It is necessary to accurately grasp industry development trends, promote the intelligent, green and integrated development of industries, unswervingly take the path of professional development, and build an irreplaceable competitive advantage through technological leadership.
