On November 14, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, held in-depth working talks with Li Rui, member of the standing committee of the Communist Party of China Guizhou Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee, in Zunyi to discuss advancing cooperation between the two sides. Wang Jiezhi, Deputy Party Group Secretary and Director of China Minmetals, Liu Yongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guizhou Province, and Huang Wei, deputy secretary of the Zunyi municipal Party committee and mayor of Zunyi, attended the meeting.

Chen Dexin thanked Zunyi for its long-term care and support for China Minmetals' transformation and development. He stated that China Minmetals thoroughly studies and implements the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, gives full play to its development advantages of a complete industrial chain integrating resource exploration, design and construction, development and operation, smelting and processing, trade and logistics, scientific and technological R&D, and financial capital, and continuously contributes to ensuring the supply and security of national metal mineral resources. As a sacred place of the Red revolution and regional development hub, Zunyi boasts abundant natural resources, a solid industrial foundation and strong growth momentum. In particular, its mineral resource endowment is highly consistent with China Minmetals' core business. He expressed hope that both sides would explore more opportunities and expand new space for win-win cooperation in resource development, technological innovation, engineering construction, financial services and other fields, further deepen local-enterprise integration, and work together to form a new pattern of high-quality coordinated development.

Li Rui thanked China Minmetals for its long-term care and support for Zunyi's development. He said that currently, Zunyi is thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, firmly grasping its historical status as a "place of great turning point " and its strategic positioning as a "provincial sub-center", upholding the strategic focus on the "Four New Goals" (breaking new ground, opening new horizons, seizing new opportunities and achieving new successes) and advancing the "Four Modernizations" (new industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization, and tourism industrialization), concentrating efforts on building "six major industrial chains", vigorously promoting the "efficient exploitation of high-grade mineral resources", and making every effort to transform resource advantages into industrial advantages. He expressed hope that both sides would further strengthen communication and coordination, tap into cooperation potential and enhance cooperation levels in mineral resource development, new energy material R&D, urban renewal and other fields. Zunyi will make every effort to provide factor guarantees, policy support and environment optimization, delivering the highest quality and most efficient services for China Minmetals' development in Zunyi.
