On October 20, Chairman He Wenbo met in Beijing Yang Zhiqiang, Chairman of Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. Li Fuli, Deputy General Manager of Minmetals, attended the meeting. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening bilateral cooperation.

He Wenbo extended his welcome to Yang Zhiqiang and his delegation, introduced the general situation of Minmetals, and reviewed the history of friendly cooperation between the two sides. He said that Minmetals should draw on the experience of Jinchuan Group in business operations and management. He hoped that the two sides will further strengthen business exchanges and cooperation, give particular play to their respective advantages in the process of “going global”, and work together to achieve common development.

Yang Zhiqiang introduced the recent operating situation of Jinchuan Group and its development strategy, saying that considering the New Normal of economy, the current situation of the metal and mining industry is temporary. He expected enhanced cooperation between Minmetals and Jinchuan Group to jointly address the challenges facing the industry.

The two sides also exchanged views on topics of common concern, including the situation of the metal and mining industry, human resource management, management and control of overseas enterprises, and industrial technological renovation.
