In the afternoon of July 12th, according to the deployment of the MCC Party Committee and China Minmetals Corporation Party Organization, the MCC Party Committee held a meeting to earnestly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC on July 1st. President and Party Committee Secretary of China Minmetals Corporation He Wenbo attended the meeting and made a speech. Staff Director of MCC and Headquarters Party Committee Secretary Lin Jinzhen took the chair.

According to meeting's arrangements, the persons in charge of every functional department of MCC combined their work reality with their personal learning experience, and discussed it respectively. Everyone agreed that General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech has abundant connotations with a strategic height; his emphasis of 'keep the initial intentions in mind and move forward' fully manifests CPC members' awareness of crisis and responsibility consciousness. The people attending the meeting said successively that they should keep their identity as a CPC member, be brave enough to shoulder their responsibilities, work hard, improve the work of the departments, and actively cooperate in completing the integration work, thereby helping China Minmetals Corporation to make greater contributions to new China.

He Wenbo earnestly listened to the participants' speeches. Then, he put forward three requirements for MCC to further study and implement the spirit of the speech and promote the new China Minmetals Corporation's reform: first, fully understand the significance of the speech. Second, promote your work through studying, and guide your behavior with the achievements from the speech; the 'Seven Combination' should be carried out practically based on each individual's work. Third, strengthen the organizational leadership and deepen the study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech.

He stressed that studying and implementing the speech spirit for MCC means forging the No. 1 metallurgical construction national team unswervingly. For this, He Wenbo particularly shared his experiences of the investigation on Baosteel's Zhanjiang Steel Projects, which is participated in by MCC. He mentioned that MCC applied many new technologies with independent intellectual property rights , especially the green environmental technology in the Zhanjiang Steel Project, which has made Baosteel's dream of building the 'Green factory with the highest efficiency in the world' come true. This further enriches the connotations of China Minmetals Corporation's mission of being the 'Innovator of industry updating'. The international steel industry will be different because of MCC, and this is the fundamental reason why MCC people continue to be an excellent national team of metallurgy construction. He also introduced China Minmetals Corporation's operation in first half year, and stressed the practical significance of the core ideologies 'Cherish the limited resources, pursuing sustainable development' and 'Never delaying and never slacking'.

The meeting was attended by nearly 30 persons in charge of China Minmetals Corporation General Office and Party Building Department, and each functional department of MCC.
