During the Spring Festival, Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPC, People's Government of Yunan Province, Beijing Office of People's Government of Guizhou Province, Party committees and people's governments of Zhaotong City (Yunnan Province), Huayuan County (Hunan Province) and Qilian County (Qinghai Province) sent ebullient letters of thanks to China Minmetals for its strong support and enthusiastic assistance in capital, consumption, industry and talent in 2022. In their letters, they wished China Minmetals a flourishing business in the new year and greater achievements in accelerating the process of building itself into a world-class powerhouse with global competitiveness in the metals and minerals industry.

In 2022, China Minmetals lived up to the social responsibility of central state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and conscientiously implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. It followed strictly the requirements of consistent responsibilities, policies, support and care for people who have just been lifted out of poverty, and adhered to the principles of "targeted, characteristic and long-term" poverty alleviation. To be specific, it advanced poverty alleviation in 6 designated counties and 1 county with its counterpart assistance steadily and orderly with a high degree of political consciousness and strong sense of responsibility, and dispatched temporary cadres to each of these counties to promote high quality implementation of the work. Therefore, it achieved remarkable results and further highlighted the brand image of a responsible and dedicated central SOE.

The Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPC, and People's Government of Yunan Province said in the letter of thanks:

"In 2022, Chairman Weng Zuliang repeatedly gave instructions on poverty alleviation actions of China Minmetals in Yunnan Province and Deputy Party Group Secretary Dong Mingjun went to Zhenxiong, Yiliang and Weixin counties to guide its poverty alleviation work in these designated counties in Yunnan Province. China Minmetals invested a total of more than RMB 24 million of assistance funds throughout the year to help introduce project funds. Besides, it also gave consumption assistance of more than RMB 8.7 million to support Zhenxiong, Yiliang and Weixin counties to strengthen the construction of infrastructure and public utilities. These funds were to speed up industrial development, improve the mechanism for supporting and helping farmers, expand income channels, and improve the rural governance capacity and self-development capacity. With these efforts, it laid a solid foundation for comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization."

The Beijing Office of People's Government of Guizhou Province said in its letter of thanks:

"Over the past year, with strong support and joint efforts of your company, we have successfully launched wonderful events including the special live broadcast activity of public welfare property themed "Ecological Guizhou Celebrates the Spring Festival" for colorful Guizhou New Year's shopping festival, the second exhibition and sales season for characteristic products of fast-growing enterprises in Guizhou themed "Guizhou Goods in Beijing, A Large Collection of Good Things", and a series of seminars themed "Accelerating the Transformation of Urban Underground Pipe Network to Promote High-quality Development of Guizhou" and "Development of Modern Coal Chemical Industry". With our hard work, we have gathered a strong joint force to promote high-quality development, and laid a solid foundation for the big picture of high-quality development. Here, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks and pay high tribute to your company!"

The Zhaotong County Committee of the CPC and People's Government of Zhaotong County said in the letter of thanks:

"China Minmetals has fully implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on fixed-point poverty alleviation, given priority to fixed-point poverty alleviation, and innovated assistance measures. Meanwhile, it has expanded the fields of assistance, explored the "futures + insurance" financial assistance, and organized subsidiaries to give "double-hook" assistance. The Huayuan County Committee of the CPC and People's Government of Huayuan County said in the letter of thanks:

You have invested assistance funds of RMB 6.39 million to vigorously promote the expansion of our county's industry and the improvement of infrastructure. You gave consumption assistance of RMB 4.77 million and launched 2 aided construction projects in our county, effectively transforming your functional advantages and resource advantages into the development advantages of designated counties. With your strong support and wholehearted help, your temporary cadres and we passed the national assessment on the effective connection between the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements and rural revitalization, as well as the provincial field assessment on the effective connection between consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements and rural revitalization, and the promotion of rural revitalization strategies.
