On the morning of April 20, Weng Zuliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited Hunan Nonferrous Metals Huangshaping Mining Co., Ltd. (“Huangshaping Mining” for short), a subsidiary of China Minmetals, for investigation.

In the production workshop of lead-zinc beneficiation plant, Weng Zuliang carefully checked the lead-zinc-copper beneficiation process, and paid special attention to the technical indicators, process equipment level, tailings management, safety in production, and environmental management and control. In the mining display hall, Weng Zuliang acquired a detailed understanding of external and deep ore body prospecting and the production and operation processes of mines and beneficiation plants, and had a broad and in-depth exchange of views on issues such as research on scientific bottlenecks and continuity of resources.

Weng Zuliang hoped that Huangshaping Mining would fully grasp and put into practice Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, adhere to the people-oriented philosophy and employ advanced technical means to ensure safety, by which to continuously improve the working environment and intrinsic safety. He also hoped that Huangshaping Mining would increase the efforts of ore prospecting and geological exploration, continuously consolidate the foundation of resource guarantee and strengthen the efficient and comprehensive utilization of polymetallic resources, so as to maximize the values of mineral resources.
