On the afternoon of April 21, Weng Zuliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited Zhongye Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd. (“Zhongye Changtian” for short), a subsidiary of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group) affiliated to China Minmetals, for investigation.

Weng Zuliang visited the Enterprise Comprehensive Image Exhibition Hall, the National Engineering Research Center of Sintering and Pelletizing Equipment System set up by Zhongye Changtian and the enterprise office park, and then investigated the laboratories of intelligent manufacturing, flue gas treatment and new energy materials. Later, he listened to the report on the development history, scientific and technological innovation, industrial layout and engineering performance of the enterprise, and learned about the development of the enterprise’s technical research, laboratory building, standard compilation, transformation and application of intellectual property rights, etc.

Weng Zuliang had an in-depth exchange with the front-line staff and scientific researchers of Zhongye Changtian on further improving the scientific and technological innovation capability and promoting original technology research. Weng Zuliang pointed out that Zhongye Changtian should fully grasp and put into practice Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply understand and practice the important mission of central state-owned enterprises: enhance our capacities for sci-tech innovation, industrial control and security support in building a modern industrial system and a new development paradigm, as well as in promoting high-quality development of Chinese enterprises.
