On February 6, 2024, Weng Zuliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited Shanghai Baoye Group Corp., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Baoye") and provided guidance on digital enterprise brain building. He also visited and extended his regards to cadres and employees.

Weng Zuliang listened to the report on the overall situation, achievements, and application scenarios of digital enterprise brain building at Shanghai Baoye. He acknowledged the achieved results and provided guidance on optimizing specific scenarios and upgrading system functionalities. Additionally, he put forward three requirements for enhancing digital enterprise brain building.

The first is to deepen integration. This involves permeating integration requirements throughout the entire business lifecycle, all processes, and various links. There is a need to strengthen integration in such aspects as contract flow, fund flow, bill flow, manpower flow, and logistics, to enhance data linkage, empowerment, and sharing, which will establish a solid foundation for upgrading from informatization to digitalization and effectively improve corporate governance efficiency.

The second is to advance intelligent transformation. Weng asked Shanghai Baoye to adhere to a problem-oriented approach. Weng noted that it is necessary to integrate intelligent tools into various aspects of production and operation, such as construction system development and project management, to achieve real-time monitoring, early prediction and warning, and intelligent analysis, thereby continuously identifying problems. At the same time, it is important to transform these problems into vivid application scenarios and ultimately solve them through business process reengineering.

The third is to strengthen security guarantees. To achieve the modernization of governance and industrial systems, digitalization plays a crucial supportive role. A robust security guarantee is the fundamental prerequisite and important foundation for digitalization. Therefore, it is necessary to further reinforce the security guarantees for digital enterprise brain building, imposing stringent requirements at the very beginning.

Weng Zuliang emphasized that to build a world-class enterprise, it is essential to promote industrial and digital modernization. It is important to deepen the supportive role of digitalization in the development of core functions and core competitiveness within the enterprise. Weng added that enterprises should summarize and refine the digital building experience and achievements within their groups like Shanghai Baoye, and promote these practices across these groups. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on the risk points in all areas and aspects of enterprise development, create a dynamically updated list of risk management and control, and continuously strengthen risk control, providing strong support for making the enterprise stronger, better, and larger.

During the visit, Weng Zuliang had in-depth exchanges with cadres and employees on some major issues arising from the operation and development of the enterprise.
