On November 20, 2024, Chen Dexin, President and Deputy Party Group Secretary of China Minmetals, visited MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited ("CERI" for short) and extended his regards to frontline cadres and employees there.

Chen successively visited CERI's Enterprise Exhibition Hall, Centralized Control Center, Digital Exhibition Hall and Technology Institute, and gained a detailed understanding of its progress in digital enterprise brain construction and technological innovation. During his visit, he fully recognized the achievements of CERI in focusing on its primary responsibilities and key business and strengthening technological innovation in recent years. Besides, he encouraged CERI's cadres and employees to continue to inherit and carry forward the profound corporate culture, and to exert unswerving and unremitting efforts to implement various tasks under the scientific and technological strategy of "focusing on R&D of high-end equipment, pursuing green and low-carbon transformation, and following the guidance of intelligence". He also encouraged them to set an example, accumulate experience and make more achievements in leading role of Party building, innovation-driven growth, quality and efficiency improvement, transformation and development.

Chen emphasized that the enterprise should thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, conscientiously implement the guiding principles contained in the important statements and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on technological innovation, and take technological innovation as an important measure to serve the national strategy and promote the high-quality development of China Minmetals. It should deploy the innovation chain around the industrial chain, structure the industrial chain in alignment with the innovation chain and achieve deep integration of the "four chains". It should also activate the application value of more scientific and technological achievements, and continuously promote the use of technological innovation to lead industrial innovation. Meanwhile, it should promote technological innovation by focusing on the construction of technology R&D platforms, the improvement of platform R&D capabilities, the tackling of major technical problems, the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and the building of technological talent teams. It should promote the layout of basic research, applied research and prospective research, and accelerate the transformation of traditional industries towards high-end, intelligent and green industries. Besides, it should build an innovation consortium, and continuously enhance technological innovation capabilities through the deep integration of "industry, university, research and application". In addition, it should improve the institutional system and operational mechanism, further optimize the indicators for performance appraisal of scientific research enterprises, and strengthen the training of scientific research teams. Moreover, it should continuously stimulate the innovation vitality of scientific research enterprises, build a positive and upright technological talent team, and make its due contributions to China Minmetals' self-reliance in high technology, construction of a modern industrial system and development of new quality productive forces.
