As the Spring Festival approached, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited the headquarters of China MCC on January 24 to express his heartfelt gratitude and extend Spring Festival wishes to the cadres and employees. Chen Jianguang, Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Group of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group, and Chairman of MCC and China MCC, accompanied him during the visit.

At each destination, Chen Dexin had a warm communication with the staff, inquiring about their work and life conditions, as well as any difficulties or issues they were facing. He fully recognized the vibrant and positive spirit of China MCC’s employees, their dedicated work ethic, and the tangible results achieved in driving further transformation and upgrades. He expressed that, over the past year, despite facing multiple internal and external pressures, China MCC had always followed the guidance of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It resolutely implemented the decisions and plans of the China Minmetals Party Group, and worked tirelessly, overcoming challenges and moving forward, making significant contributions to China Minmetals’ goal of building a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness in the metal and mining industry. 

 Chen Dexin emphasized the importance of deeply studying and implementing the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions, focusing on playing the “three roles” of central SOEs in technological innovation, industrial control, and safety support. It is essential to continuously enhance core functions and improve core competitiveness, ensuring high-quality Party building to guide and safeguard the high-quality corporate development. In addition, it is crucial to adhere to the principle of setting ambitious goals that inspire excellence (“reaching for the higher fruit”), maintain strategic determination, and further liberate minds, transform thinking, innovate in actions, as well as remain grounded. Efforts should be made in enhancing efficiency through refined management practices, maintaining a profit-driven approach grounded in meticulous planning, and driving improvements through reform and innovation. China MCC should accelerate its transformation and upgrades, pursuing a path to differentiated business development with distinctive China MCC characteristics. It is important to build a world-class enterprise with “excellent products, renowned brands, lead innovation, and modern governance,” actively showcase the enterprise’s image and flagship products, and use its powerful brand and its deep corporate values to capture the market. With the goal of ensuring “enterprise value and employee dignity,” it is important to put public interest and Party spirit first, work hard, live happily, and foster a political ecology that is clean, upright, entrepreneurial, and oriented towards goodness and progress.
