The 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting of the China-Chile Business Council was held in Beijing on May 15, 2025. The meeting marked the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Chile, along with the 20th anniversary of their Free Trade Agreement. Zhu Kebing, General Manager of China Minmetals, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

In his speech, Zhu Kebing reviewed the establishment, revolution and development of the China-Chile Entrepreneur Council over the past 20 years. He said that the Council would fully implement the consensus reached at the meeting between the two heads of state, formulate specific work goals and plans for both sides, and give full play to the service role of platform, thus further promoting pragmatic and honest cooperation between enterprises of the two countries. As the founding sponsor and China’s chairman unit of the China-Chile Entrepreneur Council, as well as one of the earliest enterprises participating in China-Chile economic and trade cooperation, China Minmetals would make more efforts to leverage its advantages to closely communicate and deepen cooperation with Chilean enterprises in the fields of geological exploration, mine development, smelting and processing, trade logistics, new materials, scientific and technological innovation, etc., so as to continuously create mutual benefits and win-win results.

The conference was supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Chile and the Embassy of Chile in China, and co-hosted by the China Council for International Investment Promotion and the INAPI, with about 150 participants, including leaders of relevant government departments, industry experts, representatives of enterprises and institutions from China and Chile. Relevant leaders from head offices and directly-managed enterprises  of China Minmetals participated in the meeting.
