On July 29, 2025 (Beijing Time), the magazine Fortune released its annual 2025 Global 500 list worldwide. China Minmetals made the list for the 19th consecutive year with a revenue of $115.8 billion, ranking 86th. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the company has been ranked among the top 100 since 2020.

In this year’s ranking, China Minmetals ranked second in the metals industry. The top three companies in the metals industry are: China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited (73rd overall), China Minmetals Corporation, and Jiangxi Copper Corporation Limited (165th overall).

The entry threshold for the 2025 Fortune Global 500 was $32.2 billion, up 0.5% from the previous year. The combined revenue of listed companies totaled approximately $41.7 trillion, equivalent to one-third of global GDP, representing a year-over-year increase of 1.8%.

This year, the number of listed companies from China reached 130 (including those from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).
