Recently, the CPC Provincial Committee and Provincial Government Of Gansu sent a letter of appreciation to China MCC17 Group CO.,Ltd.(China MCC 17), a subsidiary of China Minmetals. In the letter, they expressed their gratitude and respect for the company’s swift mobilization of professional rescue forces and equipment to assist in disaster relief efforts. They also highly praised the company’s strong political commitment and profound dedication to serving the people during this critical time.

In the face of sudden disasters, China Minmetals resolutely implemented the important instructions given by Chinese President Xi Jinping on flood control in Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, adhered to the spirit of "when a disaster strikes in one location, help comes from all quarters", and directed China MCC 17 to participate in local emergency rescue, post-disaster reconstruction and economic and social development, exemplifying the political character of a central SOE in following the Party's leadership and serving the people, as well as a sense of responsibility to act immediately upon orders and go all out in emergency response and disaster relief.

As a key subsidiary of China Minmetals in Gansu Province, China MCC17 has remained committed to deepening its footprint in and serving Gansu in recent years. The company has been at the forefront of undertaking major tasks and key projects, demonstrating the central SOE’s sense of responsibility and commitment. It has been fully engaged in supporting Gansu’s high-quality development, and built a number of exemplary projects and projects meeting the people's expectations, including the Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center, the Lanzhou-Qingzhong Section of the Lianhuo Expressway, and the Lanzhou New Area Post-Disaster Housing Reconstruction and Relocation Project, contributing its share to Gansu’s development.
