On August 26, Zhu Kebing, President and Deputy Party Group Secretary of China Minmetals, went to Golmud to investigate Salt Lake Shares, a subsidiary of China Salt Lake. He went to the front line of the project and the salt pans in the mining area to carry out work safety inspections, and visited and extended his regards to the front-line workers.

Zhu Kebing visited the construction site and main control room of the 40,000 ton/year basic lithium salt integration project of Salt Lake, the 1# sodium adjustment pool of the resource subsidiary, the mouth of Dabson Lake, the brine mining workshop and other places to learn more about the project construction, safety management, quality control, test run preparation, sci-tech innovation, resource reserves, ecological protection, salt pan technology, recycling, etc., and encouraged everyone to continue to carry forward the work style of "practical work and hard work", and make new contributions in promoting the efficient utilization of salt lake resources and maintaining the stability of the new energy industry chain and supply chain.

Zhu Kebing emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions, and effectively enhance the sense of mission, responsibility, and urgency in accelerating the building of a world-class salt lake industry base based on the overall strategic situation of ensuring national food security, energy resource security and the development of new energy and new material industry. It is important to adhere to strategic guidance, strengthen top-level design, strictly control the project construction progress, see responsibilities are fulfilled by all parties, optimize management process, and comprehensively improve efficiency, so as to lay a solid foundation for promoting high-quality and efficient development of the project. It is vital to adhere to the principle of safety first, prevention foremost and comprehensive management, solidify the chain of safety production responsibilities, improve the dual-prevention mechanism of hierarchical risk control and hidden hazard investigation and rectification, and strengthen safety skill training and emergency drills for employees, with an aim to comprehensively elevate intrinsic safety levels, and resolutely prevent and curb all types of production safety accidents.
