China Minmetals Corporation 2025-09-11
On September 4, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, held a working meeting at Sinograin’s headquarters with Deng Yiwu, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of Sinograin. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on further strengthening cooperation in all respects. Ge Qiaohong, President and Deputy Party Group Secretary of Sinograin, Zhou Weixian, Party Group Member and Vice President of Sinograin, and Xu Jiqing, Party Group Member and Vice President of China Minmetals, attended the meeting.
Chen Dexin expressed his gratitude for the long-term trust and support from Sinograin to China Minmetals’ development, and provided a brief overview of the company's history and development and the cooperation between the two sides. He expressed hope that the both sides would, based on cooperation in the construction of existing grain storage facilities, give full play to the advantages of the integrated metal mining industry chain and strengthen cooperation in multiple areas, such as the new model of modern grain depots featuring whole-chain and whole-cycle management, intelligent and green grain storage technologies,and new modern grain logistics systems with high efficiency and coordination, so as to make new and greater contributions to guaranteeing national food and resource security.
Deng Yiwu extended a warm welcome to Chen Dexin. He introduced the main business of Sinograin and provided an update on its development. He said that Sinograin steadfastly uphold the political responsibility for ensuring national food security, and made continuous efforts to modernize reserve management. It is hoped that the two sides will further broaden the scope, of cooperation, intensify our collaborative efforts, and deepen the level of our partnership in a bid to yield more cooperation results, and achieve win-win development.
Participants included relevant leaders from Sinograin, as well as leaders of China Minmetals' headquarters and directly-managed subsidiaries.
