On September 16, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, inspected Guangxi Antimony, a subsidiary of Hunan Nonferrous Metals, and Fenglian Copper, a subsidiary of China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals, in Guangxi. During his visit, a work safety inspection was conducted, and he extended his regards to frontline officials and employees.

At Guangxi Antimony, Chen Dexin visited the corporate exhibition hall and conducted an on-site inspection of the technology center, antimony trioxide workshop, warehouse, and packaging workshop, gaining a detailed understanding of its production processes, intelligent transformation, technological innovation, and Party building work. He emphasized that Guangxi Antimony must resolutely implement national policies, maintain strategic focus, adhere to compliant operations, and firmly hold the bottom line against risks. The company should leverage its geographical advantages and seize development opportunities. Based in Guangxi and facing ASEAN, it should coordinate efforts to develop new clients while maintaining relationships with existing ones, taking various measures to expand its market. In addition, it must focus on becoming “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative,” unswervingly advance technological innovation to achieve product technology breakthroughs, and continuously enhance its core competitiveness. Further efforts are needed to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency. The mindset of “living on a tight budget” must be firmly established, and the “three-ization” (digital, intelligent, and green) transformation should be strengthened to ensure resources are fully utilized, thereby creating greater value. It is also essential to uphold the leadership of Party building, unify thoughts and understanding, and focus on Party building to promote development, so as to jointly advance the enterprise’s transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development.

At Fenglian Copper, an on-site inspection was carried out by Chen Dexin at the Fangchenggang terminal and the ore blending workshop, where he learned in detail about production scheduling, technological innovation, and safety and environmental protection work. He stressed that the company must actively fulfill the original mission of “serving and reinvigorating the country through the metals and minerals industry.” A strong awareness of technology, standards, quality, and safety must be fostered, and the company must be unswervingly driven to become stronger, better, and larger, demonstrating greater commitment and action in guaranteeing the supply and security of the nation's metal and mineral resources. Adhering to the principle of being responsible to shareholders, the company must strictly implement all management requirements and make significant efforts in “fine management, continuous improvement, and meticulous work” to effectively manage its production and operations. Following the “resource + technology + service” approach, the company should intensify the “three-ization” transformation of its equipment to further improve its ore blending technical capabilities. At the same time, market analysis should be strengthened to promote the enterprise’s transformation from “toll processing” to “independent operation,” better meeting the diverse needs of different clients. Finally, a safety management system centered on the work safety responsibility system must be established, the safety awareness of employees must be enhanced, and the bottom line and red line of work safety must be strictly observed.
