To firmly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, on November 28, China Minmetals Group Co., Ltd. urgently donated HK$10 million to support the fire rescue operations and post-disaster reconstruction of the major fire in Hong Kong. At the same time, it extended the deepest condolences to the compatriots and  firefighters who lost their lives in the fire, and paid high tribute to every firefighter and rescuer from all sectors of society.

China Minmetals also organized a volunteer team composed of more than 30 employees from its affiliated enterprises in Hong Kong, which went to Runway 1331, a youth hostel in Kai Tak to donate materials on November 28. It also contacted the councilors of Tai Po District through the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, with plans to provide on-site support services in Tai Po subsequently.

A major fire broke out in several residential buildings of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong a few days ago, causing heavy casualties and attracting widespread attention and support from all sectors of society.
