On December 29, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Party Secretary, Director, and General Manager of China Minmetals, held work talks with the visiting Wang Huilian, Party Secretary and Director of Liaoning Provincial SASAC. Both parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on further strengthening cooperation between the enterprise and the local government. Senior leaders, including Duan Wenwu from China Minmetals and Hu Yang from Liaoning SASAC, attended the meeting.
Zhu Kebing welcomed the delegation and thanked Liaoning Provincial SASAC for its long-standing care and support for China Minmetals. He stated that China Minmetals remains committed to its mission of serving and strengthening the nation through mining. The group continues to enhance its core function of "ensuring national metal mineral resource supply and security" and its competitiveness in "high-level integrated development of the entire metal mining industry chain," anchoring its role as the "national team" for resource security and the "main force" for new services. China Minmetals and Liaoning have maintained all-round cooperation for a long time, and their industrial visions for the "15th Five-Year Plan" are highly aligned. Zhu expressed hopes to deepen pragmatic collaboration in mineral chain synergy, technological transformation, and asset revitalization to contribute more to the revitalization of Northeast China.
Wang Huilian expressed her gratitude to China Minmetals for its long-standing contributions to the economic and social development of Liaoning Province. She stated that Liaoning is a key industrial base in China, boasting abundant mineral resources and a solid industrial foundation. Looking forward, the province will continue to provide high-quality services and support for enterprises while fostering a favorable business environment. She expressed hope that China Minmetals would fully leverage its "three roles" as a central state-owned enterprise. She encouraged both sides to collaborate on common challenges and work in the same direction in areas such as industrial transformation and upgrading, intensive resource utilization, and technological innovation cooperation, so as to accelerate the development of a national-level iron ore industrial base and better serve major national strategies.
Prior to the talks, the two sides jointly visited the China Minmetals Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement Exhibition.
Relevant personnel from Liaoning Provincial SASAC and China Minmetals participated in the talks.
